• Paula

  Paula,Owner - Paula graduated from Cleveland State University with her degree in Communication. After being in the corporate world for over ten years she wanted to operate a business that played an important role in the community by providing an exceptional service for children. Paula is very excited to own a business that is centered on her most important priority - family. She is proud to be a part of The Goddard School and is committed to providing the highest quality preschool experience for the children. Paula looks forward to getting to know you and your family!

• Darlene

  Tenure: March 2023. Experience & Education: Has over 30 years of experience in the Early Childhood Field, starting as an infant teacher and working up to a Regional Director. Philosophy on Teaching: All children learn in different ways. Children are eager to learn and as they are exposed to information they will absorb it!

• Ms Heather

  Tenure: March 2022. Experience & Education: Over 15 years of experience in the childcare field, has four children of her own and holds a current CDA certificate. Philosophy on Teaching: Each child grows at their own pace. They may not all complete a skill at the same time. Some may take longer than others to finish and that is great! They will all finish!

• Ms Annette

  Tenure: April 2019. Experience & Education: An Associates degree from Cuyahoga Community College and a CDA. Over 30 years of experience in the Early Childhood field including working in the CMSD with special needs children. Philosophy on Teaching: It is my philosophy that each child has the potential to do amazing things. It is also my belief that as a professional, I am responsible for shaping and teaching each child so that they are prepareed for the next level of education.

  Tenure: January 2005. Experience & Education: Over twenty years of experience, two children of her own and an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education Philosophy on Teaching: Teachers must provide a variety of experiences each day for children to explore through play while stimulating all of their senses.

• Ms Joni

  Tenure: July 2023. Experience and Education: Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and over 13 years working with young children in a childcare setting. Philosophy on Teaching: Building strong reciprocal relations with parents is paramount! Children learn through play. Having a classroom environment that is engaging, fun, and filled with open-ended experiences for the children is important so that their learning journey helps them grow in their own unique way!

• Ms Lisa

  Tenure: February 2024. Experience and Education: Five years of experience working as an Intervention Specialist. Has an associates degree in Early Childhood Intervention. Philosophy on Teaching: Every child is unique. We all learn differently and that's why it is so important to learn all about each child in our care.

• Ms Lourdes

  Tenure: February 2023. Experience & Education: Over 10 years of experience working in a childcare setting with infants. Some college in Early Childhood Education and has her CDA. Philosophy on Teaching: Each child is special in their own way. I believe as teachers it is important that we always are down at their level, always aware of their needs and situations.

• Ms Shannon

  Tenure: August 2023. Experience and Education: Has experience working in a childcare center as a teacher for 6 years and most recently a substitute teacher for the last year and a half. Has a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences with a concentration in Health and Human Services: Community Mental Health. Philosophy on Teaching: A teacher should guide children and encourage them through experiences. Children all learn at different times and in different ways. An effective teacher is adaptable and patient with all children in their classroom.

  Tenure: April 2019 Experience & Education: Over 20 years of experience in the Early Childhood field. Philosophy on Teaching: Each child should feel welcomed and valued. Each child needs to be heard by fellow classmates, teachers and parents. Children should be excited about all the fun things they are learning!

• Ms Bethany

  Tenure: May 2023. Experience and Education: Over 10 years working with young children in a preschool, church, and home setting. Philosophy on Teaching: A teacher should create a warm, welcoming learning environment that encourages children to explore and leads children to see that learning is fun and exciting! Children learn best when they feel that their teacher truly cares for them and understands them. Teachers need to provide a variety of sensory learning experiences because each child is unique and may learn differently than his/her peers.

  Tenure: October 2023. Experience and Education: Has 2 years of Nannying experience and some college in Psychology. Philosophy on Teaching: Teachers have one of the biggest impacts on a child's life. Every child is unique and has unique gifts. My job as a teacher, is to help children show those gifts. I want children in my care to flourish and I need to give them necessary tools to do so.

  Tenure: February 2023. Experience & Education: One year of childcare experience and over three years of experience as a Direct Support Professional. Philosophy on Teaching: Teaching is a daily relationship formed between children and educators. By understanding deeply what inspires and delights our little learners, we can guide them to experiences that lead to enriched learning.

• Ms Kashay

  Tenure: November 2019 Experience and Education: Over 5 years working in an Early Childhood setting and is in the process of completing her CDA (Child Development Associate Credential).Philosophy on Teaching: I believe that it is important to give and show every child love. I also believe in giving children a sense of self and independence. Each of these things is necessary in helping children become happy, secure, and functioning healthily in society. We as teachers must give children the knowledge and social emotional tools needed to push through the world in a healthy manner.

  Tenure: September 2023. Experience and Education: Has over 30 years of working with children in a childcare setting. Currently working on completing her CDA. Teaching Philosophy: Sharing is caring! No child should ever be left behind!

• Ms Regina

  Tenure: September 2023. Experience and Education: 17 years experience working with young children in a childcare setting. Has an associates degree in Early Childhood Education. Philosophy on Teaching: Children are like soil. They are just waiting for a seed to be planted. As a teacher I feel it is a great opportunity to plant the right positive seeds, so that one the children in my care can blossom in to something wonderful!

  Tenure: February 2007. Education & Experience: Studied Early Childhood Education for four years at Church Teacher's College in Jamaica. Also graduated with an Early Childhood Education degree from Tri-C. Sonia has over 30 years of pre-school teaching experience. Philosophy on teaching: To enrich children's lives academically and socially in order for them to be successful individuals in school and our society.

  Tenure: February 2024. Experience & Education: 3 months of childcare experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development. Philosophy on Teaching: A teacher is a life coach, second parent and more! It's important for a teacher to get to know each child in their class and see how they can positively impact their life.

• Ms Teri

  Tenure: September 2005 Experience & Education: Thirty years of experience, two children of her own, certified as an Early Literacy Mentor Specialist (ELMS) and Early Childhood Education courses at Youngstown State. Philosophy on Teaching: Children should learn in a safe, fun and comfortable way. Children should be exposed to many different things in their environment and have hands on experience.
